Camstumble Review

Camstumble is a global website using webcam and text chat features to connect you to random users from around the world.Geeky Girl at Camstumble

Basic But Effective

Our overall impression of the interface during our testing was that it is very basic, but effective. There is nothing overwhelming about it, but it has enough features to quickly get you started. This website is supposed to connect you to random strangers from around the world and lists places such as US, Canada, UK, Germany and Russia in their website description. They offer the website in five languages (Spanish, German, English, Russian and Italian) so while it may cater to many different countries you aren’t likely to understand the site information unless you speak one of those languages.

There’s no way to tell what language your next chat partner may speak, but that is part of the idea behind this online roulette style random cam chat. They assign a number sequence to each guest user that logs in so that you know who is speaking in the Global Chat Box, making it even more anonymous as there is no way to insert a unique username. You won’t be able to tell which country they’re from until you start chatting. You also have the option of signing in so that you can get your own “handle” and put together a friends list. You’ll be able to more easily keep track of your friends as you meet new ones.

Some Things Are Different Compared To Competition

Camstumble basically “stumbles” you to a random webcam user. In fact, instead of a Start button they have the Stumble button and then there is the Stop button for when you’re done talking but don’t want to navigate away from the website. There is also a Broadcast Cam Live section to this website, which allows anyone and everyone to view your cam. They offer two certain features that obviously have an age limit to them due to adult content. This webcam website is not recommended for anyone under the age of 18 or who may be offended by the content.

The Verdict

Camstumble clearly describes their website as a place “for the attention deprived” which gives you a good idea of what kind of users may be on this site. We would not recommend this webcam website for anyone looking for a more diverse and interesting chat experience because they seem rather limited.
